The Band

The members of the Don Lázi Swingtet are professional musicians who graduated from music academy. Their musical style is defined by the swing music of 1950s Las Vegas. Its most prominent figure is Louis Prima, an Italian-born, Grammy-winning composer, band leader, trumpet artist, and internationally acclaimed singer who conquered the world with his trumpet. He pioneered a new style (shuffle) and is considered a precursor to rock and roll. The Don Lázi Swingtet presents this uniquely Italian-tempered swing music in their own distinctive arrangement.
